VSG

The Association for Saamaka Communities (VSG) represents the traditional authorities and communities of 74 Saamaka villages in Suriname. Deeply rooted in the communities it serves, VSG works to protect Saamaka territorial and human rights, support sustainable community development, and preserve the ecological and cultural diversity of the Saamaka forest.
