Strong Roots

Strong Roots Congo is a locally rooted organisation working in the Kahuzi-Biega–Itombwe landscape in eastern DRC. Together with local and Indigenous communities, it combines traditional knowledge and scientific approaches to protect biodiversity, strengthen community rights and livelihoods, and conserve critical habitats, including those of the endangered Grauer’s gorilla.
